GDPS Presents Workforce Solutions to Support Indonesia’s Economic Growth

Tangerang, September 21, 2025 — PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS), part of the Garuda Indonesia Group, continues to enhance its position as a strategic partner in delivering professional workforce solutions across multiple sectors.

Since its establishment in 2019, GDPS has expanded its services from the aviation sector to encompass oil & gas, logistics, technology, FMCG, energy, education, and automotive industries. This diversification demonstrates GDPS’s capacity to provide workforce solutions tailored to evolving industry needs.

The number of contract workers managed by GDPS has grown substantially. In 2022, GDPS managed 3,273 contract workers, and by mid-2025 this figure has increased by 111% to 6,927 workers distributed across 93 cities throughout Indonesia, with the highest concentration in the Jabodetabek region. This growth reflects both the expanded scale of services and the confidence clients from various sectors place in GDPS’s capabilities.

“This growth is tangible evidence that GDPS continues to innovate and maintain relevance amid evolving industry dynamics. Today, we are committed not only to meeting customer needs but also to building a resilient workforce ecosystem with global competitiveness. We want to ensure every GDPS initiative creates broader benefits—for our customers while opening more employment opportunities across Indonesia,” said Cornelis Radjawane, President Director of GDPS.

This significant increase in workforce numbers also reflects GDPS’s meaningful contribution to the national economy. According to data from Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency (BPS), open unemployment in Indonesia reached 7.28 million in February 2025, up approximately 83,000 people or 1.11 percent compared to the same period the previous year. This figure reflects a gap between the supply of educated workers and the availability of permanent employment. Through its adaptive outsourcing model, GDPS acts as a bridge between industry needs and workforce availability, allowing customers to maintain focus on their core operations while creating new employment opportunities across strategic sectors.

“Looking ahead, we hope to expand employment opportunities across various sectors and regions, thereby making our contribution to the national economy increasingly tangible. This effort is also expected to develop a more productive and competitive workforce ready to face global challenges,” Cornelis added.

Beyond strengthening its domestic market position, GDPS has successfully expanded its services internationally. This expansion success is marked by strategic collaboration with PNG Air, Papua New Guinea’s national airline. This partnership served as GDPS’s foundation for building a global track record, further reinforced by participation in the MRO Asia Pacific 2025 conference in Singapore. This demonstrates the company’s proactive approach toward the international market. Through this forum, GDPS successfully established connections and identified cooperation opportunities with various global companies in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector. This achievement underscores GDPS’s commitment to expanding its international network while reinforcing its position as a competitive strategic partner on the global stage.

Cornelis also emphasized that GDPS will continue strengthening its commitment through technology-based services, expanded partnership networks, and more adaptive workforce management. With consistent innovation and customer-focused orientation, GDPS is confident it can provide sustained contributions to customer success and Indonesian employment growth.
