PT GDPS Takes Firm Action Against All Forms of Fraud Perpetrated in Company’s Name

Tangerang, September 2, 2024 – As a leading technology-based BPO company and part of the Garuda Indonesia Group, PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS) operates company culture based on PURE values by practicing trustworthiness and responsibility in daily corporate life. PT GDPS reaffirms its commitment to maintaining company integrity, especially in the employee recruitment process. PT GDPS conducts recruitment processes transparently and professionally. PT GDPS also emphasizes that every stage of the selection process is conducted free of charge.

“We never charge job applicants any fees. All selection stages, from registration to results announcement, are conducted at no cost. We also never include specific official names in communications with job candidates,” stated Adrie Dwi Aryanto, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal.

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, PT GDPS successfully took action against fraudsters who misused the company’s name for unauthorized recruitment schemes. After conducting thorough investigation and cooperating with authorities, PT GDPS gathered evidence based on incoming complaints sufficient to support legal action. The fraudsters were turned over to competent law enforcement authorities for further processing in accordance with applicable regulations and law. This measure was taken to protect potential victims and safeguard company integrity.

As a preventive and repressive measure, PT GDPS has established a Whistleblowing System (WBS) mechanism as a channel for reporting suspected violations including fraud, corruption, criminal acts, and ethical breaches involving employees and other related individuals within the company environment.

“PT GDPS is committed to creating a clean, transparent, and highly integral work environment. Therefore, WBS serves as a channel to report all forms of fraud perpetrated in the company’s name, enabling us to detect and address violations more effectively while preventing future violations,” Adrie added.

This also represents implementation of Ministry of BUMN Regulation No. 2 of 2023 Article 35: “In order to improve the quality of decision-making by the Board of Directors and the quality of oversight by the Board of Commissioners/Supervisory Board, BUMN must ensure the availability and adequacy of internal reporting supported by adequate management information systems.”

WBS can be accessed through PT GDPS’s official website at www.wbsgdps.com. Additionally, reports can also be submitted through telephone number 0811-1259-1717.

“This represents one of PT GDPS’s genuine commitments in building integrity in company operations. Furthermore, PT GDPS will take firm action against all forms of fraud perpetrated in PT GDPS’s name,” Adrie concluded.
